This kit will fit all versions of the Sync3 unit with software 3, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4 and the new non navigation Sync2.5 with software R5.6 and F1.1. This Plug & Play kit with no coding required, connects to the audio unit located behind the climate controls and one single plug at the rear of the screen but if you have a Manual Gearbox then 1 single wire needs to be connected to the Reverse light wire at the rear lamp. If your Focus has Rear Parking Sensors or Front and Rear Sensors then you will have’Dynamic Parking Guidelines’ that move with the steering wheel showing the projected trajectory of the vehicle and the parking sensors will show on the parking icon on the top corner of the screen. If you do NOT have rear parking sensors (like the car shown in some of our pictures) then the Guidelines will remain fixed in the centre of the screen! The guidelines can be removed via a dip switch on the interface if desired but without factory parking sensors they will NOT move with the steering wheel. Our low voltage NTSC camera supplied with the kit will replace your existing tailgate handle which will look like it was a factory fitted option having the same white LED number plate lamps. We also provide a USB key with the kit full of installation photos and Fitting Information.
