Always check the spring size and end shapes are correct prior to attempting fitment. Springs should be fitted with the same orientation as the original equipment spring. Appropriate care should be taken when replacing a spring. A compressed spring holds a huge force and could cause serious injury if it came loose during fitment. Special tools should always be used to compress a spring. For safety, spring installation should only be undertaken by a competent person and instructions from a recognised repair manual should be followed. Spring pans, bushings and link-arms should always be checked for damage and replaced if necessary. After installation, springs should be checked to ensure they are correctly located at the ends and are not too short or loose. Wheel alignment should also be checked.
